About the host
NIT Warangal, formerly Regional Engineering College Warangal, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone -: the first in the chain of NITs (formerly RECs) in the country. It is an Institute of National Importance on a self-contained residential campus of about 248 acres near Kazipet.
The institute has nearly 400 faculty and about 7,000 students. NIRF 2025 placed NIT Warangal at rank 28 in Engineering and 63 Overall. BDA was previously hosted here in 2015 and 2018; NIT Warangal hosts the 15th edition in 2027. The meeting is organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Computational & Data Science.
